Sri mahaganapathi Homam, Murugan Temple, Hatkeshwar, Gujarath

Nine days left for Panguni Uthiram, so in the temple special pooja Sri mahaganapathi Homam happened,  all are waiting for Kavadi festival in Ahmedabad, Kavadi is special because of the coming together of the star Uthiram and Pournami. It is believed that the wedding of Rama and Sita was celebrated on Panguni Uthiram. So divine marriages are celebrated on this day. 

Hindu belief is that this month is considered auspicious, divine and powerful. Because on this day, all problems relating to married relationships will be solved by visiting the temple on this day.  In all the places where Lord Subrahmanya has a temple, the devotees carry a kavadi for the fulfillment of vows. Devotees flock in hundreds to all the Murugan temples for the Panguni Uthiram festival, which is celebrated in March every year.

Sri Balamurugan Temple, Ahmedabad, Gujarath

Well maintained Sri Bala Murugan  temple, it feels like you are in a Murugan temple in Tamilnadu. A well managed and constructed this temple situated in Hatkeshar, Ahmedabad. Established by Tamilians long back. The temple is recently renovated with granite floor and ceiling paintings showing Lord Kartikeya stories. Excellent painting works, 

We can visit god sri balamurugan as main deity and Lord shiva, Parvathi, ganesha, Swamy ayyappa, bhirava and navagiragam sannithi. Pooja needs shop available inside. Pooja store has tamil traditional things as well. Many Tamil local people are visiting temple. Tamil priests are doing pooja in tamil.There are other Devasthan of Ganesh, Ayyappa Swamy, Shiv & Parvati. Entire year all Tamil occasion are celebrated.

when we enter the premised we can feel Holy spiritual....Good vibes, Marriages and Baby Shower functions are also held in the Devasthanam Hall

All poojas were performed according to the Tamil calendar Special monthly Poojas are also performed. Main festivals are Thai Poosam and Panguni Uththiram

Peoples says Tamilargalukana varaprasatham at Gujarat.. Car parking also available inside the temple premises.

flock in thousands to this temple. Punguni Utthiram is a big occasion every year.
